Aubergine (Eggplant) Lasagne

Large tomato

Mozzarella

Four slices
Ham

For seasoning:
Some olive oil
Instructions

  1. Remove the stalks from aubergine (eggplant) and cut into a half inch (1 cm) slices, brush them with Olive oil.
  2. Cut the Tomato and Mozzarella into thin slices.
  3. Preheat the grill for 3 minutes over medium heat.
  4. Pour 1/4 cup of water into the ridge surrounding the grill.
  5. Place the aubergine slices on the grill and put the lid on, then steam for about 4 minutes, until golden.
  6. Take half of the slices out from the grill and put on the side.
  7. Place a slice Tomate top of each aubergine on the grill, then place a slice of Mozzarella on, then slice of bacon, place the aubergine, salt and pepper and finish with slices of Mozzarella and Basil leaves on top.
  8. Place some Basil on top for the decoration, and keep cooking until the Mozzarella has melted.
